Greetings from the Office of Alumni Affairs at Appalachian! We are excited to introduce to you Homecoming 2019! This year’s Homecoming festivities include a series of exciting changes, and we hope you will consider joining us on campus on October 18th and 19th. Our new programming pairs the Homecoming traditions we love with a celebration of the very best of Appalachian’s arts, academics, athletics, and student programs.
Be a Homecoming Hero!
We’re dreaming big with our programming and need some help from heroes to make it all happen! Our Homecoming Heroes provide donations between $75 (classes from 2009 - 2019) and $100 toward Homecoming programming, which makes alumni outreach and engagement possible. As a small gesture of our thanks for the loyalty and support, Homecoming Heroes receive a commemorative button to wear for the weekend, recognition in print and online promotions, and a discount offer on activities and hotel rooms.
To become a Homecoming Hero, please complete the Homecoming Hero registration or print and return the 2019 Homecoming Hero PDF Form below, via mail to ASU Box 32015; Boone, NC 28608. For additional information or if you have questions about the Homecoming Hero program, please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at 1-866 756-ALUM (2586) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: Hero packets will be available for pick up on Friday, October 18 at the McKinney Alumni Center from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or at the Alumni Welcome table at APPtoberfest.
